Pine-Oak forest on steep E- and W-facing
ravine sides, with Ore op an ax xalapense and
epiphytic mosses, lichens, and fungi; shrub
layer of Rub us tri lob us, Monnina xalapense.
Comarostaphylos, Fuchsia cf. endiandra:
ground layer of Stellaria, Cuphea cyanea.
Chimaphila, Gaultheria. Stariiys coccinea in
deep peaty mulch.
