Flora of Bolivia Family: Polygonaceae Polygonum Department of Tarija Province of Cercado City of Tarija Marshy area along the edges of the Rio Guadalquivir. Elevation: ca. 1800 meters. Approximate location: 21°31'58"S 64°44'35"W Emergent herb. Rare; with only a couple of individuals noted. Branching freely from long, horizontal stems. Growing in standing water. Habitat: marshy area alongside the river, characterized by a mixture of vegetation, with abundant Typha sp. and free-floating macrophytes. Soil silty clay.
