Habitat
Metrosideros-Cheirodendron Montane Wet Forest; stream habitat w/ large boulders and steep saturated basalt walls. Associated species: Carex alligata, Clermontia spp; Thelypteris stegnogrammoides & T. globulifera, Ctenitis honolulensis, Deparia prolifera, Coniogramme.

Description
Only on seeping walls; rhizome lt-brown w/ translucent brown scales; stipe yellow-green w/ lt-brown scales and brown-white hairs; lamina lt-green; single pop. seen w/ ca 20 plants; fronds pendant.
