Flora of Bolivia Family: Polygonaceae Polygonum ferrugineum Wedd. Determined by: N. Ritter (NHA), 1998 Department of Beni Province of Cercado Laguna Suarez, approximately 5 km S.E. of the city of Trinidad. Elevation: ca. 160 meters. Emergent herb. Rooted in the shallows. Locally abundant. Flowers: white, 4-merous. In some areas forming a distinct "zone".
