Wet cloud forest. 1900 78 ° 48’W 00 °14 ’ S elev NEW YORK BOTANICAL GARDEN 04033308 BOTANICAL pARD&t Very common on steep forest hillsides. Typical: stipe 2 m, blade 2.5 m. Reduced to apex; opposite pinnae, 10 cm between pairs. No indusium. Stem not seen. Base of stipe has medium brown scales 13x3 mm.
