Location
Canada. Ontario. Kenora Distr. Southeast of Kenora, via Hwy 71, near Hwy 314; Lake 239 (Rawson Lake)-Experimental Lakes Area.

Habitat
In ombrotrophic bog, Northeast corner of Lake 239. Eastern portion of mire dominated by dense cover of Picea mariana, western portion recently burned with Pinus banksiana seedlings abundant. Dominant plants of mire: Carex trisperma, C. pauciflora, Chamaedaphne calyculata, Ledum groenlandicum, Eriophorum spissum, Kalmia polifolia, sphagnum fallax, S. angustifolium, S. fuscum.
