Euphorbia soobyi McVaugh
Steep mountains 11-12 miles south of Talpa de Allende, in the
headwaters of a west branch of Río de Talpa; barranca above a
rapid clear stream, in dense forest of Quercus, Carpinus, Distylmm,
Magnolia, Podocarpus, with pine forest on the ridges above; eleva-
tion 1200-1700 m.
Abundant on shaded, slopes in the pine
forest and the transition zone.
Perennial; appendages green; styles red-
tinged.
