GUYANA. Region: U. Takutu-U. Essequibo. Wassarai Mts.,
near camp, along creek at base of highest peak in
Wassarai Mts. (3,700 ft.). 01°34’N, 59°14'W. Elev. 275
m. Dense forest on brown sandy clay, with Inga,
Socratea and Cecropia. Liana; sepals green, petals
magenta with yellow spot in center of banner petal,
stamens white.
