Seringal Itatinga and Seringal Porto Central are contiguous parcels located on opposite sides of Rio Purus. The locality description states the left-hand side of Rio Purus; unable to determine which direction is the "left" side of the river. Georeferenced to the approximate geographic center between the two parcels of land, along the northern shore of Rio Purus. Using the reference material and Google Maps - Earth View, located the two adjacent parcels of Seringal Itatinga and Seringal Porto Central, on opposite sides of Rio Purus. Used the Google Maps - What's Here Tool to find the coordinates of the approximate geographic center of the contiguous parcels Seringal Itatinga and Seringal Porto Central, along the northern shore of Rio Purus. Used the Google Maps - Measure Distance Tool to find the linear extent by measuring from the selected coordinates to the farthest extent of the parcels (to encompass both parcels, since unsure which is Seringal Itatinga). Input coordinates, linear extent (45250.0 m), and measurement error (50 m) into the MaNIS Georeferencing Calculator to find the uncertainty radius (according to Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Named Place: Defined Area).
