14973* Qalanthe triplicate Ames, Bank terres-
trial plant in blacfc wet earth of a densely wooded flat
at 00# feet;~ leaves several from the thick fleshy root,
ascending but finally recurved, coriaceous, paler green
keneeth, the petiole ridge on the, outside and curvingly
conduplicate on the upper side; flowering stem aubterete,
pale green# erect; flowers divaricate, pure white* only
the rachis with the bracts green* odorless hut very pretty!
