Bursera microphvlla. Caesalpinia pumila. Croton sonorae. Diphvsa occidentalis. Ferocactus emorvi. Fouquieria diguetii. Haematoxvlon brasilleto. Hechtia montana. Jatrooha cuneata. Krameria sonora. Lysiloma divaricata. Qpuntia gosseliniana. O. versicolor, etc. Shrubs 1.2-1.5 m tall, with many succulent, green stems; flowers (except ovaries) mostly bright red, especially the filiform bracts.
