Euphorbia arlensis HBK.
Sierra del Halo, near a lumber road leaving the Colima highway
7 miles south-southwest of Tecalitlan and extending southeasterly
to San Isidro; steep pine-covered hills, and moist barrancas in
the pine forest zone, 7-9 miles from the highway; elevation 1700-
1800 m.
Locally abundant on steep banks in
pine forest.
Perennial herb to 1 m* high; bracts
strikingly white.
