Description
Pileus 11-10 cm wide, campanulate, sordid reddish-brown covered with soft warts turning reddish; gills narrow toward stem & free, moderately broad in x-section, edge slightly pulverulent, white; stem 14.5 cm tall, 2.5 cm at volva, 2 cm at thinnest, clabate bulbiferous, subglabrous, slightly striate at apex, pink tinged within and without, dull red where bruished; annulus broad, superior, membranous, fragile; viscid when moist; basidia 34 mu in height, 4-spored; spores white in mass, colorless by transmitted light 8.5 mu high, 6.8 mu in diam., elliptical. Phenology of specimen: Basidiomata.
