Disturbed roadside, southwest facing slopes. Associated with Rondeletia, Miconia, Clusia, Neolaugeria, Chionanthus domingensis, Trema lamarkiana, Pennisetum, Neorudolfia. Serpentine soil.

Description
Vine climbing ca. 10 m high; stems hanging to ground; sap of stems and leaves burning skin of collectors.
