Normal size plants. Found growing on damp to
dry bare sand in an area where gravel is
removed, the area is disturbed and is flat and
smooth except where gravel is being mined,
north of the state burrow area, west of Paoifio
Heights Road, about 5 miles south-west of
Oroville, California. The plant is very
common and abundant in the area and most of
the plants are prostrate, some of the plants
will arch their stems, this arohing of the
stems takes place where it is drier.
