Habitat
This area was under several feet of water in superstorm Sandy on the date of 29 October 2012. The plants on this day are in ground level planter beds planted with native perennial species such as Ilex glabra, Nyssa sylvatica, Diervilla lonicera, Prunus maritima, Echinacea. The beds also included the usual compliment of urban weeds including Lactuca serriola, Taraxacum officinale, Chenopodium album, Medicago lupulina, Melilotus albus, Solanum carolinianum, Eleusine indica, Chamaesyce maculata and many others.

Description
Herb, about 25 cm tall; leaves strongly concolorous; receptacle flat. There were several plants of this species seen in other beds. Spontaneous. This species probably came in with some of the cultivated plants planted here that are likely from more southern states. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
