emalensis, understory incl. Lauraceae, Cephaelis elata,
Uroskinnera, Trophis "chiapensis", Reinhardtia elegans,
Synechanthus, tree ferns. 17°07’30"N, 94°27’55,,W, elev.
1150-1250 m.
Tree fern, without spines; trunk 1 m tall; petiole ca 78
cm plus blade 100 cm, 14 pairs of pinnae, petiole and raquis
scaly; abundant.
Field-treated in Calzada’s solution (50%ethanol + scant formalin)
