PLANTS OF NEW GUINEA
Cyathea
Castanopsis-oak forest of a.creek flat; slender
tree-fern 4 m tall; leaves few, spreading,
lanceolate, averaging c. m in length in-
eluding stipes of 30—bQ cm.; about half the
leaves spore-bearing; pinnae widely spaced, not
imbricate.
