I-Iabitat: Lowland rain forest on level
ground. Altitude 250 feet.
Annot. Tree; buttresses 3 feet high
by 2-3 feet wide, concave; height 90 ft
bole 40 ft., d.b.h. 20 inches. Bark
grey, moderately fissured, tending to
be scaly. Wood light orange to orange-
yellow. Odour bitter, some watery sap.
Leaves green on upper surface; whitish
pubescent on lower surface. Fruit
yellow-green, yellow when ripe. Local
