Annot. Canopy tree, slightly buttressed
and fluted near base. Height 90 feet,
bole 50 feet, d.b.h. 15 inches. Bark
deeply fissured. Blaze red-brown.
Wood brownish-yellow. No sap exuding
when cut. Upper surface of leaves bright
green; lower surface yellow-green, both
sides glossy. Flowers cream.
