pallida, Lesquerella purpurea, Pholistoma,
Ephedra fasciculata, Eriogonum fascicula-
tum, E. wrightii, Thysanocarpus, Simmondsia,
Agave chrysantha, Carnegiea, Cercidium micro-
phyllum, Fouquieria splendens, Ericameria
linearifolia, Dyssodia porophylloides, Viguiera
deltoidea, Phacelia, Encelia farinosa, Lamarckia
aurea, Dodonaea viscosa, Dichelostemma,
Castilleja chromosa, Gilia, Melampodium leu-
canthum, Berberis haematocarpa, Lotus rigidus,
Acacia greggii. Rocky basalt outcrop, plant
attractive perennial, occasional to uncommon,
branched from base, leaves purple-green,
flowers dark orange.
