cylindrical, branching only at top; outer bark
white-grey, smooth, inner bark light brown;
flowers white-tan.
Notes: Myrmecophilous with hollow stem tips
housing numerous black ants. Common.
Locality: Morobe Province: logging road near
Markham Village, along the margin of Labu
