topographic map]. Rolling topography, sandy soil,
secondary vegetation and disturbed patches of tropi-
cal evergreen forest.
17°41fS, 63°37'W. alt. 450 m.
Tree 8 m. tall, 10 cm. in diameter, gets to 15 m.
tall and 30 cm. in diameter here; crown dense; erect
central trunk to top of tree and with small horizon-
tal branches. Fruit green.
