Elev. ca. 200 to 250 m. Tropical semideciduous forest. Euphorbiaceae NEW YORK BOTANICAL GARDEN 03995247 1975 Tree 15-20 m tall with several trunks from base, each about 30 cm DBH; branching open, canopy narrow; bark gray-brown, scaling and fluted; fruits green. Only three plants seen in this area, 2 carpellate, 1 staminate. Three others seen further down canyon (2 staminate, 1 sterile). Drypetes gentryi Monachino 03995247
