(Silver St.), 0.6 mi. south of State Line Rd. (Calvada Springs 7.5’ Q.: 35°59.741'N, 115°53.939W,±100m). Alt.: 797m/2615ft. Wide shallow wash on alluvial slope, silty soil; creosote bush scrub with dense herbs due to recent summer rain. Water may pond here regularly — Larrea tall and lush. Assoc, with Prosopis glandulosa, Ambrosia dumosa, Atriplex canescens, Euphorbia micromera, Hoffmannseggia glauica, Amaranthus albus. Very common perennial in wash; fls. red-orange.
