Germán. Secondary brushy remnants of tropical evergreen forest.
With Byrsonima Spicata, Cyathea microdonta, Belinda
grossularioides, Aparisthmium cordaium, the soils evidently
deeply leached.

Stems to 1.5 m. tall. Plant very spiny.
