Common on boles & larger branches of trees
& shrubs & rotting logs. Mostly from
ground level to 8ft. Fronds hejd -
horizontally, or inclined to 20 from
horizontal; dull olive green adaxially,
slightly paler abaxially. With Hepatic
1102 & G-rammitis 1103.

10 cm« of surface, with strong smelling humus»
Montane-rain forest« Trees to 30 m0 high, with
dense low pole forest on plateau edge. Buttresses
& stilts very rare. Nearby a small area of
cloud forest 10 m„ high, with trees tortuous,
covered in thick moss jackets* Lianes rare,
palms occasional« Some areas rich in herbaceous
vegetation and tree seedlings. Field layer
( 2m.) locally dominated by Psychotria snn,
Bryophytes & small epiphytic ferns common on
trunks & rocks.
