Flat, sandy clay soil, by bridge over now non-flowing
stream, formerly subtropical semi-deciduous forest, now
mostly cleared for pasture and a few field crops, with much
secondary growth, and swampy areas in ditches.
Herb or almost a shrublet, 0.7 m. tall. Whole plant green.
