    Floodplain forest dominated by mixed hardwoods (Acer rubrum, Betula lenta, Carpinus, Carya, Liquidambar, Liriodendron, Nyssa, Ostrya) with sparse conifers (Pinus strobus, Tsuga) and herbaceous understory with Arundinaria. corticolous on Carpinus.
