Planta de Gas La Vertiente, 18.8 km (by combination of old road and new highway under construction) E of center of Villa Montes on way to Paraguay. 21°17’35”S, 63°18’27”W. alt. 365 m. Flat chaco shrubland with a discontinuous overstory of Aspidosperma quebrachoblanco, and with Celtis chichape, Caesalpinia paraguariensis and a few other species. With Castela coccinea, Quiabentia verticillata, Pereskia sacharosa, and in understory Bromelia serra and Ruprechtia triflora are common.
