DUNAS COSTERAS. Disturbed sand dunes with Croton
punctatus, Palafoxia.
Common on dunes; shrublets to 6 dm. tall, forming
patches, decumbent at base. Leaves green above,
silvery beneath, the midveins and stems brownish;
flowers greenish white; fruit green, finally brown.
