Rolling terrain with mosaic of Adenostoma fasciculatum - Ceanothus crassifolius chaparral, Quercus agrifolia woodland and disturbed grassland with Stipa pulchra, Bromus mollis, B. diandrus, B. rubens, and Avena barbata.
