flowers; normal C. flavescens was found nearby)
Michoacán: municipio de Arteaga, along MEX 37,
ca. 75 km (by road) north of Arteaga and 1 km south
of El Descansadero; 18°38'41nN, 101°58’10"W, ±
300 m. Solitary shrub ca. 3 m tall; open thomscrub
with columnar cacti.
