Phlebodium decumanum (Willd.) J. Sm. Ritter #4163 Det.: N. Ritter (NHA), 1999 Flora of Bolivia Family: Department of Beni Province of Vaca Diez Laguna Tumechuqua; ca. 30 km SE of Riberalta. Elevation: 170 meters. Approximate center of the collecting area: H°08'0r'S. 66°10'56"W. Emergent fern. Growing on a floating mat of aquatic vegetation, but raised slightly above the current water level. Only one individual noted. Habitat: a large oxbox lake. This system is sporadically flooded by the Rio Beni (ca. every 10-12 years). Water type: whitewater- clearwater.
