Marsh, flat, Carex, Scirpus, Salix petiolaris, Salix discolor.
Shrub 2.5 m. tall, a loose clump of several slender erect
stems to 1.5 cm. in diameter and 8 years old, but often
forming many-stemmed patches here. Voucher for wood
specimens at Kw, Lw, MADw, RSAw. Staminate; catkins
visited by small insects.
