Polypodium
Fern in humus. Rhizome dark brown. Stipe light green, adax.
flat and alulate by decurrent blade. Frond blade thick, hard,
brittle, adax. drab green with whitish dots and strong, convex
rib of palest green; abax. pale green with yellow sori.
Edo. TACHIRA: Dtto. Junín: entre Villa Páez y Beta-
nia, cerca de la frontera con Colombia; zona de bos-
que siempreverde. Alt. 2.050-2.350 m.
