Loja- Saraguro, 8.5 km N of San Lucas, track to Fierro Urco, km 10.
Vegetation: Polylepis forest in declivity surrounded by grass tussock
paramo on 30 cm deep black humic soil.
Semi-prostrate / creeping lycopod with erect terminal stems; scale
leaves thick and ± fleshy, glossy, glaucous blue-green with pinkish
apices.
