Eleocharis minima Kunth Cyperaceae Ritter 4111 Determined by: N. Ritter (NHA), 1998 Flora of Bolivia Family: Cyperaceae Eleocharis Department of Beni Province of Cercado Laguna Suarez, approximately 5 km S.E. of the city of Trinidad. Elevation: ca. 160 meters. Approximate location: 14°53'W. 64°51'W. Diminutive herb. Rare. In flower. Growing on a small hummock along the edge of the lake. Habitat: marshy area along the edge of the lake. Dominated by Ipomea came, and an assemblage of free-floating macrophytes, including Salvinia spp. and Limnobium laevigatum. Abundant sediments in suspension.
