East of Lynches River, ca. 0.65 mi west of Old Creek Rd., 4.3 mi WNW of McBee. Floodplain forest with Acer rubrum, Fraxinus pensylvanica, Betula nigra, Platanus occidentalis, Carpinus caroliniana, next to a small oxbow lake below a berm topped by a huge red maple with five trunks. 34.487438°N, -80.325483°W.
