lat. 5 deg. 35.513’ x long. 144 deg. 47.252’, GPS elev. 2357 m at
Camp 1; altimeter readings 2400-2050 m at collection antipodes.
collection sequence 10502-10544; 5 m treelet; twigs terete,
provided with yellow-brown hairs; leaves spirally arranged, firm,
scabrid, adaxial surface dull yellow-green and dark green mottled x
abaxially yellow-brown lanate; veins deeply impressed;
inflorescence spicate, single in axils, unisexual (sp. apparently
dioecious); male flowers: 3 yellow-green tepals, stamens
numerous and yellow.
