torio Delta Amacuro. (+ 61°44'W. 8°4'N.). Primary Jl
est near Rio Grande o Toro, E. of Upata. Tree + 30
tall. Tree with cylindrical bole and rather small -
rounded crown. Bark shallowly fissured, grey D.B.H.:
41 cm. Branches and twigs grey. Leaves coriaceous, -
smooth, glossy medium green above, slightly glossy -
paler green beneath. Immature fruits glossy, dark
green turning dark red, jZf 1 cm. Seeds (2) bright red,
black at the base.
