section w. San Jacinto River bridge, 50 m. N of bridge,
Altitude; 25 feet.
Disturbed open bank side, 3 m. above river, 15 m. back
from it. Buff coarse sand with abundant shells and
gravel. Sesbania drumm.-Ambrosia sp. complex, with
Tamarix.
Shrubby perennial herb, 30 cm. Spread out on ground
in tangled mass, radiating from base, ends ascending.
Lavender corolla with yellow center.
