Dry, open-understory ridge-forest on volcanic soils with Colpothrinax, Quercus, Mimosaceae, Euterpe, Terminalia. MAP coordinates. 16°23'N 89°05'W 800-900 m Rhizomatous epiphyte in tree at 6 m. Plants field-collected in 70% isopropyl alcohol. 16 February 1997 Bruce K.
