the Parque Nacional Yasuni. Soil temperature 24-25°C.

This fertile material collected in April, 1986.
DBH 32.3 cm. Incipient buttresses, prostrate at base,
15-20 cm high, visible to 75 cm from trunk base. No
latex. Epiphytic mosses and few thin orustose lichens.
