Description
Cultivated. Stipe 4.5 ft. long; blade 9 ft. long and 7 ft. wide; weight of stipe (fresh) 7.5 pounds; 13 pair of pinnae, total weight of frond 8 pounds. Spirit material and sections at Kew. See illustration in Kew Bull. 32, No. 3 (1978). Ex Kew 578-63-57807. This specimen is a duplicate of NSW 399628. Duplicates to NSW, BRI, L, NY, US. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
