1 This singular fern is'common in the lower woods, where it&
long vine-like rootstalks creep and twine over trees and rocks.
The iorm from Oahu (21}8)^ has Jblunt lobes, while, in specimens,
from near the Hanapepe falls, Kauai (24-38), there are five sharp-
pointed lobes. Jt imported as growing also in Sumatra.
