Belize.: Scipio Cay. 16°28.135’N , 88°17.829’W 1 m. Edges of the
lagoon on the inside of the island.
Common, "mangrove fern" prongs 2 m. long, no stem. Fertile pinnae
are terminal sporafigea. Turn brown on maturity. 12 fronds per
plants. Scales at base of leaf are dark brown. Rhizome horizontal.
