    spore length: 8.75 - 7.5 microns; spore width: 5.0 - 4.5 microns; spore shape: Ellipsoid; spore texture: Smooth; spore color: Hyaline; spore print color: Light yellow. Stem was hollow and tapering toward the base. Close examination by Dr. Methven (see annotation above) confirmed that this specimen is Cantharellus minor.
