Description
spore length: 9 - 10 microns; spore width: 6 - 6.5 microns; spore shape: ovoid to ellipsoid; spore texture: smooth; spore color: yellowish; spore print color: bright yellow. Listed as infrequent to rare. Close examination by Dr. Methven (see annotation above) combined with the 2015 DNA analysis confirmed that this specimen is Gyroporus purpurinus.
