hillside - wooded. Moisture conditions: moist. wood - dead.

  • Description

spore length: 3 - 4 microns; spore width: 2 microns; spore shape: oblong with anqular ends; spore texture: smooth; spore color: clear; spore print color: white. Specimens were very wet which may explain why they did not bioluminesce as we had hoped. Note this is not a polypore. Close examination by Dr. Methven (see annotation above) combined with the 2015 DNA analysis confirmed that this specimen is Panellus stipticus.
